Submit an application

1. Go to the home page of the Change of Address Service:

  • Read the “Terms & Conditions” and agree it by ticking the checkbox.
  • Enter the correct image/sound captcha (if applicable).
  • Click “Start” to begin an application.

2. At Step 1 – Select Type of Application:

  • Select “Type of Application”.
  • If the checkbox: “I would like to use my registered ‘iAM Smart’ account” is available for selection, you may use “iAM Smart” during application.
  • Select “Type of Change”.
  • Click “Continue” to proceed.

3. In Step 2 – Select Service(s) to Notify:

  • Select service(s) you want to notify of your new address(es).
  • Click “Continue” to proceed.

4. In Step 3 – Enter Authentication Details (This step is only applicable to services of Transport Department, Inland Revenue Department and Immigration Department (FAQs)):

  • Provide the required authentication information (e.g. digital certificate or TIN and eTAX password).
  • Click “Continue” to proceed.

(Note: If you are using “iAM Smart+” in Change of Address Service, this step will be skipped automatically.)

5. In Step 4 – Enter Personal / Company Details:

  • Enter all the required information. (Note: For users using “iAM Smart” in our service, your “iAM Smart” “e-ME” profile data will be filled in the form automatically.)
  • Click “Continue” to proceed.

6. In Step 5 – Enter Specific Information:

  • Enter the information required (if any) by each selected service.
  • Click “Continue” to proceed.

7. In Step 6 – Confirm Input:

  • Review the information entered. If necessary, you can click “Back” to go back to previous steps to amend it.
  • If a selected service requires digital signing of your application, you are required to provide the password of your digital certificate or use the digital signing function of your “iAM Smart+” account.
  • Click “Confirm & Submit” or “Sign & Submit” (if applicable).

8. In Step 7 – Receive Acknowledgement:

  • If your application is submitted successfully, the system will display an acknowledgement page containing both the reference number and details of your application onscreen.
  • Click “Save” to keep a copy of this acknowledgement page.
